Purpose:
The purpose of this reporting procedure is to give external stakeholders (customers, suppliers, partners,etc.) the opportunity to report objectionable matters related to SEAM AS.
This includes fraud, violations of laws and regulations, or other incidents that may weaken the organization's integrity.
This procedure applies to all external stakeholders who wish to report SEAM AS about matters that they believe should be investigated further.
The reporting process:
Identification of Reporting:
External stakeholders can report matters such as:
• Violations of laws and regulations.
• Unethical behavior or practices.
• Corruption, bribery or other forms of financial irregularities.
• Quality problems or safety risks in products or services.
• Challenges related to human rights and sustainability.
How to report:
- Reporting can be done through the following channels:

- Postal address: SEAM AS, Husøyv. 31, 4262 Avaldsnes v/QHSE-manager.
The email will be read by the CHRO and QHSE-manager
What to include:
When submiting a report, please include:
- A description of the matter being reported.
- What specific facts or events are the basis for the report.
- Name and contact information (optional, the reporter can be anonymous). For anonymous contacts, use regular mail. For further case processing, however, we recommend that anonymous reporting is avoided as much as possible.
- Indication of whether the reporter would like feedback on the progress of the investigation.
Handling of Reports:
Receipt of Reports:
- All reports shall be registered and confirmed as received by the responsible contact in SEAM AS within 5 working days.
Investigation of Reports:
- Reports will be assessed and investigated by an independent and qualified body in SEAM AS.
- Measures will be taken to handle the report, including further investigations if necessary.
Confidentiality and Anonymity:
- SEAM AS undertakes to maintain confidentiality in the processing of reports.
• The identity of the whistleblower will not be revealed without their consent, unless required by law.
Follow-up and Reporting:
• Aber the report has been processed, the whistleblower (if contact information has been provided) will be informed of the outcome of the investigation, to the extent possible.
• SEAM AS will also evaluate what can be improved in processes and procedures as a result of the report
